See Things Differently
Moved by Maria Shriver’s Womens Conference 2010, Robin took on the then Governor's wife’s call to the 14,000 conference participants to just give one hour to change our community.
With those words of encouragement, Robin began her service to the Girl Scouts of Greater Los Angeles. Robin has volunteered to shoot many large events such as the Girl Scout Gold Awards, Girltopia (100th Anniversary Celebration) Rose Bowl Float Rally and the Girl Scouts of Greater Los Angeles Annual Volunteer Awards.
“Robin Driscoll is not only a fabulous photographer, but she is also a community partner. Her generosity in donating her time and talent to Girl Scouts is a great service to our organization and a wonderful opportunity for our girls to shine. Robin has served as the lead event photographer for Girl Scouts of Greater Los Angeles (GSGLA) signature events, including Girltopia–the nation’s largest girl-targeted expo, the Girl Scouts 100th Anniversary Rose Parade Float Rally, and the prestigious GSGLA Gold Award Ceremony, where we honor the recipients of the Girl Scouts’ highest award. Robin does an excellent job of engaging the girls and capturing their wonder, pride and excitement. We’re very lucky to have her as a partner in sharing our stories” — Kenya M. To honor the passing of her father of a brain tumor several years ago, Robin has offered her photographic skills to the American Brain Tumor Association and the brave families and patients in their Los Angeles 5k race. This event brings awareness and raises money for resources and support for patients and caregivers.
